Stand and deliver…
Last night I went to the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest as I was asked to give a presentation on Entrepreneurism to a student group based on my experiences of starting a business in Romania. The group was from AIESEC- those high-achieving students looking to develop themselves through activities and foreign exchange programs.
We discussed the challenges faced when starting a business here as a foreigner, what industries do I think would be successful?…are Romanian workers harder to manage than others?… All in all is was great to see how eager everyone was to hear about business. I’ll post some thoughts on these in the upcoming days…if anyone is interested…
I, of course, mentioned our blog so I hope we have some new persons joining us to critique and suggest ideas.
