Radacini Motors - Repair Service
Opportunity: Turning Cost centers into Profit centers
As Sara posted earlier on Apple’s repair service, I’d like to point out Radacini Motors. They are car dealers for the brands Chevrolet and Opel. Leaving aside the fact that my family bought an Opel New Astra from them last summer and the service was impeccable, I want to emphasize a little on their repair service.
They have a building in front with a showroom and in the back there’s the service. When you get your car to the service and its matter of hours and you don’t need to leave your

car there you can go up on the first floor. There is a special room with big wndows so you can see your car being fixed. You can also buy something from the mini-bar, read a car magazine or simply read the morning newspaper. Seeing your car up on the ramp can be very exciting, but they also make sure that you don’t disturb the mechanic with questions.
My father received a letter: Dear Mr. Thank you for being our customer….etc…come at our office to receive your gift - which was also a high-quality satchel. Of course dad was overexcited and brought a friend with him, and they also took the latest Opel offers, but his friend already had his mind set on the Renault Megane; so no sale, but it is a good example on how you can:
1) make sure that your customers are on track with the latest offers
and
2) ease the customer’s pain if you can’t eliminate it.
