Opportunity: comprehensive professional services for private persons that are moving out

There are a lot of articles in Romanian press analyzing the real-estate market and making different assumptions and forecasts. I don’t know how right they are in predicting the trends, but one thing is for sure: even if the prices are going up, there are a lot of transactions that almost always involve people who are moving out.

There are few companies in Bucharest that are offering “professional moving services”. Some offer only transportation of furniture; other help you pack and even offer the right boxes and bags for your things. However none of these companies combine these types of services with another one that is really needed when you’re moving out: cleaning services. Usually they hire some gorillas to carry out and assemble the furniture and this would be all.

Combining moving with cleaning services needed both in the initial location and (especially) within the “final destination” would be a real competitive advantage for every company that intends to “attack” this market.

    Oana, you’re right… we are used to handling ourselves everything. However, a little help would be welcomed :)

    You are right Oana, but the services should be targeted for people who are working 10 even 12 hours every day (ussually they represent a big part from the segment of people who afford to buy a new house/appartement and move in) who don’t have a lot of time and do not want to use part of their vacation days for moving out.
