Managing Children? C’est imposibile.

Opportunity: Selling management charts for toddlers.

More and more career women do not have time for their family. They manage multinational management teams and are often unable to manage their children at home, therefore outsourcing this to babysitters. However, most mothers do not have the time and energy to search for one or the money.
A Risk and Litigation Manager and a mother, Abiola Beverly Ajayi-Obe, started Smartchartz. It is a program made of charts, like some of you have seen on “Super nanny”, but these ones are entirely customizable to your specific needs. It has several themes and many different colors and codes that you can agree upon the meaning with your child/children. It has a negotiable effort/result table, so your child can visually see how close it is to getting the reward and the things that are left to do in order to get there.
These charts should not prove too complicated to manufacture and distribute. They can be easily ordered online. As the television program “Super nanny” shows, there are many parents that need it. The main targets are the parents that are unable to get through to their children in conventional ways and the children that will love the reward system.
I consider this to be quite a powerful tool in educating and getting what you want out of your toddler in a win-win situation.
Wonder if they come in business theme for small and medium-sized corporations…?
