Going to California

A few of us went to the Robert Plant concert in Bucharest (pictured on Sunday- Part of Al Gore’s “Live Earth” series of concerts to raise awareness of Climate Change. We all agreed it was a great show. His voice was absolutely excellent and the Strange Sensation accompanying him…awesome. I’ll be buying some new albums very soon. In obvious homage to my upcoming trip, he sang “Going to California” to me (…and the large assembled crowd of people who thought he was singing for them). And… what does this have to do with BusinessIdeas? Nothing except that I will be out working in California for a month or so and keeping an eye out for ideas and trends that could work in one place or another. California’s activity in energy efficiency, solar power and (more recently) environmentally-friendly building will make it an interesting place to look for new business ideas that will prosper as governments, businesses, and citizens everywhere confront this global issue.
