For the artist in you

Opportunity: Investments on the leisure market

I dedicated one of my first posts to the way Romanians spend their spare time and the great potential of investments on the leisure market. I have recently read an article about Center Stage - a “school” dedicated to teaching arts to kids, teenagers and adults. Their courses are not only addressed (like most of the other offers) to children and teenagers for educational purposes, but also to young people and adults who did not have the chance to put their passion into practice or who simply want to relax after work.

The Center Stage’s owners identified the absence - as well as the necessity - of offering courses to adults and this is why they opened the center back in 2005. For instance, dancing (from ballet to hip hop), acting, playing an instrument or painting seem to recharge people’s batteries and relieve stress. On the other hand, diction courses are taken by young professionals (lawyers, marketers, architects, aspiring politicians) as a step in their career development process.

I believe the Center Stage’s initiative in offering cultural recreation to adults is simply wonderful and, in a couple of years, even profitable. Has any of you taken such a course?

an excellent idea…second and sometimes third careers are happening more and more.

I have taken the diction (public speaking) course this spring. It was an excellent class with a very good actor, Mr. Arcudeanu. I highly recommend it.
