Opportunity: offering a viable way to use “dead times”

Anca came up with this idea and I remembered, like from another life, that I used to listen to business books when I was driving in California. Granted, I was spending much more time in traffic then here. But it was very useful and I’ve learned things I would have not learned otherwise. In Romania, listening to audio books could be a good use of the time one spends in traffic, but also in the metro. Can you imagine, if courses books were in audio format, students could learn (or review) for classes while riding the metro!

I have seen a nice collection of audio books at Carturesti, but not many of them were business books and I haven’t seen any that were course books. So, as I do not have much of a choice for now, it looks that I will still order my audio books from Amazon. I wonder why the importers of foreign books do not import more audio business books? Or better yet, why isn’t someone producing them here in Romania?
