Opportunity: Specialty Romanian products store

The upcoming EU integration brings the fear that many Romanian businesses
will be decimated. With custom taxes out of the way, imported
products will be able to further capture the market.

Some Romanians fear this will drive into the grave products they have
known and enjoyed for a long time. This may open an opportunity for
specialized stores to sell ‘only Romanian products’ - traditional
products selected for high quality (mainly groceries).

As an example - in farmers’ marketplaces, sellers use handwritten
pricetags that say “Mere Romanesti de la Voinesti - F.F. Dulci” -
“Romanian Apples from Voinesti - Very Very Sweet”. Specialized
Romanian products outlets that sell products that have a strong brand
within the country will have a good marketing image foundation.
