a transportation service example…
To add to Raul’s post on a van service to get you to and from the airport…
Check out SuperShuttle as an example of this. They service the Los Angeles area which is an ideal area for this business. “L.A.” can be considered to be more like a vast collection of cities connected over a hundred square mile area. While Bucharest cannot really compare in size…it does have a “spread out” aspect to it that makes it difficult simply setup an “Airport to Downtown” route that will adequately service all passengers.
These shuttle services in L.A. usually have a sign on their front window indicating the specific area. You know then basically that - even if you are taking on additional passengers - you won’t end up going to far out of your way to drop them off. The reservation system, of course, helps to ensure when going to and from the airport that the route is logical.

Is the reservation system phone- or web-based?

There are options for web and phone reservations.
